Vagabonding
All I gotta say is... WOW.
The book, while it is subtitled "An uncommon guide to the art of long-term world travel", is more of a philosophical text than anything, one that is certain to get one excited about traveling.
If you've ever wanted to travel (I know that seems like a broad category)... this book is definitely for you.

What's the philosophy you mention?
ReplyDeleteIt describes what the ideal traveler's mindset is. Be prepared, but not paranoid, accept difficulties, but don't seek them out, make some definite plans, but keep trips mostly fluid, and so on and so forth. It also shares many practical tips and useful resources for travelers.
